1. Katie’s Heart

Who We Are:

Katie’s Heart is a unique organization dedicated to providing new and unused toys to children in the hospital during the holidays. Since our inception, in 2004, we have collected and donated over 1000 toys.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to inspire hope as we provide new toys to hospitalized children over the holiday season.

Our Purpose:

Our purpose is to bring hope in the form of a single toy. We believe that one single toy can inspire hope while building compassion and awareness in our community.

2. Dazee’s (Hands of a Friend)

Hands of a Friend is a 501 c 3 non-profit business. DaZee’s (daisies) is a ladies only high end resale. Proceeds go to supporting building a domestic violence shelter and domestic violence advocacy work.

3. Smiling Dog Rescue

Smiling Dog Rescue (SDR) began in Jan of 2007 when a precious smiling pit came up for euthanization at a kill shelter in Arizona. This innocent boy brought awareness of the enormous number of Pit Bulls whose lives tragically end in high kill shelters. To date SDR has rehabilitated and re-homed over 800 unwanted, stray and abandoned Pit Bulls and bully breeds in Southern Arizona.

SDR is committed to reducing the number of homeless, relinquished, abandoned and needlessly destroyed dogs. We advocate spay/neuter and responsible Pit Bull ownership as well as battling backyard breeding, dog fighting and inhumane treatment of these wonderful dogs… SDR seeks to educate the public about the true nature of Pit Bulls, which is one of the most loving, loyal and affectionate breeds of dogs you’ll ever meet and to restore the breeds former position of esteem in the American household.
